Cornbrook

Cornbrook is a residential development in a key regeneration area of Manchester, sitting beside the Cornbrook Metrolink interchange. Midwest delivered the reinforced concrete frame for the scheme on behalf of Graham Construction.

The Package

Work covered formwork erection, reinforcement fixing, and concrete placement across the building’s structure, sequenced to fit Graham Construction’s programme for the wider site. Regeneration sites next to established transport infrastructure often carry tighter access and delivery constraints than a typical greenfield plot, which puts an added premium on a frame subcontractor’s ability to hold a steady pour cycle without depending on unrestricted site access.

Cornbrook is one of six schemes Midwest has delivered for Graham Construction, part of a working relationship that spans Manchester, Liverpool, and Birmingham.
