LPS

LPS is a commercial development in Nottingham, delivered for main contractor Watkin Jones. Midwest provided the RC frame package, covering the reinforced concrete structural works for the new facility.

The Package

The scope covered formwork erection to the engineer’s design, reinforcement fixing, and concrete placement and curing across the building’s floor plates, sequenced to Watkin Jones’s programme for the site. As with any commercial frame, the objective was consistency at every pour — holding levels, tolerances, and cast-in details so the frame hands over cleanly to the M&E, envelope, and fit-out trades that follow, without becoming a bottleneck in the wider programme.
