Olympic Way

Olympic Way is a student accommodation development on the approach to Wembley Stadium, in one of London’s highest-profile regeneration corridors. Midwest delivered the RC frame package for main contractor RG Group.

The Package

The scope covered the structural frame: formwork erected to the engineer’s design, reinforcement fixed to specification, and concrete placed and cured across the building’s floors. Student accommodation frames are built around a high degree of repetition — cellular room layouts stacked over shared communal floors — which means the pour cycle can be refined level by level, with each repeat bay giving the opportunity to tighten tolerances and hold pace against the main contractor’s programme.

Olympic Way brought Midwest onto a scheme for RG Group in one of London’s most closely watched development corridors — the kind of visible, high-footfall location where a frame contractor’s consistency is on display to everyone passing on match day and beyond.
